How to install Lightroom Mobile presets

1. Download the DNG file to your phone

Open the e-mail with the attached preset(s) on your phone, and click "Download".

You have three downloads available. Regardless of buying one preset or a package, you only need to download once. Please be patient after hitting the button, remember, you only have three available downloads. (If you have any problems we can send you a new download files, but please note, we will not send out new downloads after 2 months of purchase date).

If you’re using Gmail or other mail applications you might need to copy the link and paste it into Safari or whatever browser you are using.

In Safari Browser you will find the downloads in the top right corner. If you are using Chrome it will be in the top left corner.
After downloading the file you can choose to store it in your images (depending on your phone, the image might not show or it might appear like it was not edited–don’t worry, it will still work.), or open it directly in Lightroom Mobile App (we recommend the last option).

If you don’t have the app, click the appropriate link below to download it to your phone:

Did you buy a collection?

If you buy one of our collections you will receive multiple preset files in one download. The file will have to be unzipped before you can import it to Lightroom. This can be done simply by clicking the zip file in Files-app. A new folder with the .DNG files for Lightroom will automatically be created.

If you don’t have the Files-app, click the appropriate link below to download it to your phone:

Important! If you're using a Huawei phone, make sure you download and use "Files by Google", not the Huawei Files-app that's probably already on your phone.

  • In the upper right corner, press the circle with three dots.
  • Choose "Sort by Import Date" and not "Sort by Capture Date"

I can't find my Presets!

  • Click on the "Preset" in the menu on the lower part of your screen in the Lightroom Mobile App.
  • Close the open drop down menu. (most likely the default is "Color)
  • Then select "User Presets" at the very bottom.

Do the prests work on Desktop

  • Yes you can!
  • They work on both Lightroom Classic and Lightroom CC
  • Just import files like a normal image
  • Save settings as User Presets

I have a new phone

  • Before changing phone save the .DNG files (downloaded files) somewhere safe where you can retrieve them from with your new phone.

Had to re-install the app, and all my presets are gone

  • Don't worry, unless you deleted the files on your phone, you can find the files you initially downloaded in Files or Files by Google on your phone.
  • Just import the .DNG files into Lightroom Mobile again.
